  27.        Release 3.4 has the following performance problems:

  29.           +o On an unstable ring with a lot of ``claims'' and
  30.             ``beacons,'' frame error ratio and uncopied error ratio
  31.             are bogus.

  33.           +o The _s_m_t_p_i_n_g -_s command does not support packet data
  34.             sizes greater than 1385 bytes. Attempts to generate
  35.             packets with data between 1386 and 4436 bytes cause two
  36.             error messages:  Error building packet and Can't get
  37.             response from daemon. (The creation of ECHO packets
  38.             with data larger than 4436 bytes results in packets
  39.             that exceed the FDDI MTU, causing the message packet
  40.             size too large.)

  42.           +o Timestamp displays for the start of SMT statistics
  43.             keeping (_s_m_t_s_t_a_t -_s) do not work in 'r' and 'z' modes.

  45.           +o Only 4 FDDI interfaces are supported.  For example
  46.             combinations of a total of more than 4 XPI and IPG
  47.             interfaces do not work.
